McKenlee has been so much fun lately. She is into everything but I love it. She is crawling so fast. But she loves to walk using our help. She loves to pull her self up on couch, chair, or table, basically anything that she can reach. Here are a few pictures from the last month.

Happy 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July!!! It started Saturday the 3rd we woke up really early and went to the Boulder City Pancake breakfast, It was really good and fun McKenlee loved pancakes.

We then went to the parade, it was fun but really hot. At the end of the parade it seemed to be a big waterfight. We went with Maridyn, Rook, and Alexa. The kids all enjoyed the parade.

On Sunday night in Boulder they had an amazing firework show. I pulled out my camera to take some pictures and it was dead. So a girl from behind us offered to take some pictures and email them to me. I thought that it was very sweet of her.

Needless to say we had a great 4th. Holidays are more fun with kids I love having someone to share the these moments with.

McKenlee and I were able to go home a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time watching my dad and brother in the Riverton Rodeo. McKenlee loved to ride the horses.

OK I know that I really do stink at this blog thing, but my days have been crazy busy. Life here in Vegas is going well. Alex is almost done with his 2nd year of medical school and is getting ready to take boards this summer. It is crazy to think that the medical school journey is half way over. Alex will start doing rotations in July which is cool because when he is done for the day he can just come home and be with us instead of coming home and head up stairs to study for the night. I am doing well I babysit from home which can get a little crazy at times but overall it have been a great experience, and has been so good for McKenlee to be around other children. McKenlee and I have been going to Utah quite I bit. It is fun to go see family but always nice to come home. McKenlee is doing very well. She is 9 months old tomorrow which I cannot believe. She thinks that she is bigger than she really is. She is so close to crawling, she likes to crawl backwards. The only problem with that is she cannot see where she is going. The other day I was hanging laundry and she was in my room I could hear her fussing so I went to see what was wrong and I could not see her. I started to panic then I heard her start crying and I found her under my bed It was so funny I was going to take a picture but I was afraid that people might think I was a bad mom. She loves bags, she likes to find little treasures on the floor and put them in her mouth. She is starting to move a lot more in her sleep she really likes to sleep on her belly now. Her favorite food is yogurt and she will no longer eat off of a baby spoon everything taste better off mom or dad's spoon. She is so much fun we are enjoying every moment that we have with her we love her so much. Here are some 9 months.

With the help of my amazing neighbor, I am learning how to sew. I went out and purchased a sewing machine about a month ago and I have been none stop sewing. Maridyn has taught me how to make rag quilts which are super easy and fun. It is a nice way for me to stay busy while Alex is at school and studying.
This was my first ever blanket. I made it for one of the girls that I babysit. Blue is her favorite color so I found this really comfy blue material and It was the worse I had blue material from one end of my house to the other. I learned my lesson really fast that I will never use this material again.

Next was a blanket for my niece Kiara (AKA Kiwi) She loves Lime green and Hannah Montana. But then again what 6 almost 7 year old does not love Hannah. They recently re-did her room in Lime green and Hot pink so for her birthday I thought this would be a fun little surpise!!!

It is crazy to think that six months ago today I was lying in a hospital bed recovering from delivery. Little did we know how much our lives where going to change since then. We have had many smiles, laughs, tears, screaming sleepless nights, throw ups, and dirty diapers, but having McKenlee in our lives is worth it all. We love her so much and can't wait to see what new thing she does next. She is such a blessing and has brought such a beautiful spirit into our home. We love you McKenlee.

Valentine's Day 2010

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful little family. This Valentine’s Day was totally different than in years past. For the last 5 years I have shared this day with the one I love but this year I was able to share it with the 2 that I love. We are so lucky to have this little angel in our lives we love her so very much, she is the best thing that has happened to us. She is the best Valentine that anyone could give me. I love you McKenlee and I look forward to each day I get to learn from you, Alex thank you so much for all you do and for our beautiful little daughter:)

Utah Trip in Review

McKenlee and I went on yet another trip to Utah. We got such a great deal on flights we could not pass it up. We always have a great time with family. McKenlee always gets spoiled, and uncle Justin always gives her stuff that she should not be having at home. Notice the blue tongue that would be uncle justin's doing. he thinks that he is so funny:)

WOW another month has come and gone. Before we know it Christmas will be here;) First I want to start out by telling everyone how thankful we are to have them in our lives. We are truly blessed to have our little McKenlee and are wonderful family. McKenlee has such great Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and Cousins. She is a blessed little girl. McKenlee has changed so much in three months. I love to watch her change and develop new skills. McKenlee loves to be outside on walks, hikes, in the stroller as long as she is outside she is happy. She is sleeping pretty well still, unless we have visitors or she is sick she sleeps about 7-9 hours. She loves to hear herself talk and she will giggle for her daddy (mommy doesn't make a big enough idoit of herself to get her to giggle). She still loves the tub and she doesn't mind the water in her eyes or ears. She loves the lights on the christmas tree. She also likes to be a big girl and sits up in her Bumbo as she looks to see what is going on. So here are a few pictures of the last month or so. With the cooler weather we have been able to go outside and enjoy it. McKenlee loves to be in her baby bojorn.

A week of First's

McKenlee is growing so fast and she is so much fun right now. She had a big week of first's this last week. It is so cool to watch her grow and start to interact with us. We love her so much.
McKenlee slept through the entire night on Mon., Tues., and Wed. The first full night of sleep was so nice but a little scary, when I woke up and noticed what time it was and that she had not woken me up yet. So I decided that she needs to start getting use to the crib and she took her first nap in it. She so peacefull while she is sleeping.

She is starting to hold her head by herself so we can prop her up a little easier. She thinks she is so big when she can look around and see what is going on. She loves her Bumbo because she can see everything.

Alex and I were able to go on our first real date since she has be born thanks to Aunt Cindy. We went to the Lakers vs Kings game. It was a little akward because everyone was cheering for the Lakers and we were cheering for the Kings. Not really a Kings fan but we cheer for anyone playing the Lakers. McKenlee did great with the babysitter and mom did ok leaving her for 4 hours! Aunt Cindy was great and kept texting us pictures to see that she was ok.

Now that the temperature is out of the 100's we were able to sit at the park for a while. This is her first picnic at the park. We went with our friends Bella and Melissa. It is great to get out of the house. McKenlee doesn't really like the grass so its a good thing there is not to much grass here in Las Vegas.

We also went to the pool for the first time. I know it sounds crazy swimming in the middle of Oct. but it was still 92 degrees. We did not get her in the water because it was a little cold, but she really liked lying out in the warm sunshine. She loved her swim suit that uncle Andy bought her and I like that she looks so cute. It's still a little big.

On Sept. 27th 2009, McKenlee Ann Lund was blessed in the Bluffdale, UT 10th ward. We had decided to bless her in my parents ward so that it would be easier for all the family to come and see the baby. We had such great support from family and friends. Alex gave her a beautiful blessing, it is great to be married to a husband who honors and practices the gift of the priesthood. We love him so much and appreciate all that he does for us. It was such a busy weekend but we survived the first flight, the first blessing, the first time meeting some grandparents, aunts, and uncle, and all the nonstop hugs and kisses that she received.

Time Fly's

McKenlee is now 3 weeks old. She is getting so big! I haven't had a lot of time and the days seem to go by so quickly I think I lose track of time because I stare at McKenlee non stop. Alex has been really busy this last week it is final's week so his mom has been in town to help us out. McKenlee got her first illness last week. She had the stomach flu. It was not fun and with all the vomitting and diarrhea of course her little bum was just raw. I felt so bad for the poor little thing. Now that she is feeling better she is starting to sleep through most of the night again. She only wakes up once at around 4:30 and then she sleeps again until 8 or 8:30. I guess I have a pretty good little girl.

McKenlee has starting figuring out this hand thing. This week she has really starting finding her thumb and being more alert. She is starting to be more fun. We love her so much!!

McKenlee's 1st week

The week flew by:) I can't believe that my baby is already 1 week and 3 days It's crazy. We have been busy getting to know each other. And trying to get on some sort of a schedule. Alex has been really busy with school so it was great to have my mom in town for the first week. She was such a great help and I do not think she knows how much we appreciate all her hard work and support.

Alex gets to come home from school and spend some time with McKenlee. He is such a great daddy!!!! I love to watch the two of them bond it is the cutiest thing and I am so greatful that we have Alex in our life. He is truly amazing.

McKenlee had her 1st Doctors appointment this week and she is doing great. She now weighs 6 lbs and 12 oz. and they re measured her and she is measuring at 20.5 in long. I think they may have missed measured at birth because I know she has not grown an inch and 1/2 in 1 week.

So on Wed 8.19.09 Alex and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary it was great. I am so lucky to have someone like Alex in my life. And little did we know but we were about to receive the best present that anyone could have given us. So I had an appointment on Wed and my Dr. Assured me that nothing was happening. I was only dilated to a 1, we had talked and had the induction scheduled for next thurs 8.27.09. So Al and I decided that we would go later that night and do the big shopping trip and get all the last minute things. I went to work all day on Thursday and I felt great. Alex was staying late at school on Thursday for a study group with friends, and I was watching my friends children while they went to a church meeting. Alex came home around 7:00 pm and made dinner I was talking to my mom and I decided to play a joke on her and I told her that I think my water had broke (She believed me and then I felt bad that I had lied.) So after dinner I wasn't felling that great and he told me to lie down while he went upstairs and finished studying. Well I laid down and not even 2 minutes later I was yelling for Alex and my water really had broke. I was sitting in a puddle of water and Alex asked "How do you know?" Then he saw!!! Alex had to call my parents and of course they did not believe us because I had cried wolf earlier. We headed into the hospital around 8:30 pm on 8.20.09. McKenlee Ann Lund was welcomed into the world at 5:41 am on 8.21.09. She is beautiful and a little peanut. She weighed 6 lbs. 4 ozs. and 19 inches long. We are so excited to have her in our lives she has already brought a joy that is indescribable. We love her so much!:)

We want to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers. Thanks to everyone who has come to visit and support us as we start out on this new adventure.

So today was good news we found out that if McKenlee does not come on her own by Aug 26th the doctor will induce me on the 27th yeah!!!! We are both doing great, but I can not say the same for Alex. I feel bad because he has like 4 or 5 test over the next two weeks, and the stress that she could come at any time is not the best. But OH WELL!!!

McKenlee's Room is also coming along great. I do need some help deciding what to hang on what wall so the walls are kindof bear until my mom and sister come up to help me.

37 Weeks and Counting....

So still no baby, which is o kay she still needs to cook for a few weeks. But these last few weeks have been miserable It is now over a 100 degrees everyday and we had a stretch of like 10 days over 110. I just run from AC to AC. Here are some belly pictures now that Al is home to take them.

Alex is finally home after 6 weeks. Over the last 6 weeks I have realized how blessed I am to have such a great husband, and have amazing friends in the ward and neighborhood. As many of you know Alex spent the summer in Utah work for Grandpa Jack on the farm and I spent the summer in Las Vegas working to keep the insurance before the baby comes. If someone would have told me a year ago that I would be able to stay by myself for 6 weeks alone in Las Vegas being 8 months pregnant I would have never believed them, but thanks to some great friends I was able to manage without Al and still have a little fun. On the 4th of July I was able to hang out with some friends, we had a great BBQ and swimming, and then we went down the street and watched fireworks It was really hot. Then on the 9th of July the ward throw a baby shower for McKenlee and me. It was great to see all the love and support that we have through the church. I was amazed of all the generosity and care. Neighbors were always calling to check on me and making sure that I had plenty of food. Thank you to all, I appreciate everything.

Quanette was in charge of the Bluffdale stake float for the days of '47 parade in Salt Lake City today and Porter (my nephew) and I were invited to be a part of it, along with Charidee's sister Brandy and her family. The float was themed "catch the reading bug" and we all had bug eyes and antenas on our head, it was pretty fun.

Baby Shower

We had such a great time in Utah but the best part was the baby shower. Thanks to My mom, sister and Jennifer it was amazing. The food was so good and McKenlee got spoiled. We greatly appreciate all the generosity and love that everyone showed to us. I truly think that this child is going to be the most loved thing on the planet and not to mention the best dressed kid on the planet as well. We thank everyone that came to the shower and Thank you all for all the love and support we have shown us as we prepare to bring McKenlee into the world. We Love Ya all:)

Charidee and Kiwi!!! With the Diaper cake that some of my cousins made for McKenlee. It is so cute:) I loved it!!!Ky and Jake (Cousins) It was great seeing everyone!! I miss them so much...Garn Family they spoiled us. Sadi and I, It is so fun to be pregnant with your friends our daughters will be about four weeks apart and I hope that they become good friends.All the sisters I love you all so much and thank you for all that you do for us. Thanks for a great shower and BJ thanks for all the time and hard work you put into everything:) This was one of my favorite gifts this is a bow holder with all these bows that my sister made for the baby. It also came with a few headbands that I can change the bows I am so excited to dress her up. When Alex walked in and saw all the presents he was in shock... We are very appreciative for everything. Thanks again to all.

Fun in Utah!!!

After Powell we headed off to Utah. We had so much fun with friends and family!!! Here are just a few highlights of the things we were able to do and the people we were able to see. It started out with Ace's Birthday party at Chuck 'E' Cheeses. He had such a great time with all his little friends. Ace loved the Monster Truck I think he used all of his tokens on this one ride.Alex and I were able to go to the Herriman Temple open house while we were down there.

Alex's family also had a small family reunion while we were in town. It was at the Lake and we had a great time.

Lake Powell

Alex and I had never been to Lake Powell so on our way home to Utah we decided to stop off in Lake Powell with Alex's dad for a while. It was only a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas to Page, AZ. It really wasn't to bad, but we had such a great time. Lake Powell is beautiful and now we know what everyone is talking about!!! Alex had a great time wake boarding and I had a good time just sitting on the boat and soaking up the sunshine. It was perfect temp not to hot.

KRUNK the Goldfish is DEAD!!!

So a few weeks ago Al and I were invited to go boating with some friends at Lake Mead. We had such a good time. We love to be outside and it gave Al a break from studying for a few hours.

Alex finish his first year of medical school. I am so proud of him, He has been so good at handleing everything with school and the pregnancy. He is a great husband and is going to be an amazing daddy. After Al finished his last test on Friday we were able to go camping in Utah with my family. It was fun even though it rained half the time.

McKenlee's Room

Even though I still have 16 more weeks until the little one is on the way we have already started on the room. This comes to no shock for those of you who know me well, and know how OCD I am about everything and getting it done the way I want. :)
Here I am waiting so patiently to get the chair rail painted. When we first started we did not know how big of a project this was going to be.

After we tried to paint the chair rail, our awesome and very talented neighbor came over to help us put it up. Alex is taking lots of lessons from this neighbor and he is becoming quite the handy man himself. Then next came the taping and painting. Alex and I had a good time but we have been painting for two days and we are still only half way done. Needless to say neither of us are going to become professional painters any time soon.

So last but not least Alex put up this beautiful fan all by himself. He learned how to install fans from the fixit neighbor. (It's great to live by people who know how to fix everything.) The paint is still not done but I think we have a good start on things. I can not wait to be done so I can put my house back together and we can start putting up the crib and all the decor.

Life has been so busy in the last few months we have found out that we are pregnant, gone to Utah for a week and a half over Christmas and New Years, gone to Pheonix, AZ to spend time with friends, gone back to Utah for Alex's grandmother's funeral, had four different groups of people come and stay with us. Found out that we are having a baby girl, Alex finished another block week, went to Mesquite NV to spend more time with friends, put in a new microwave, put in a new fan. We had so much fun doing it all!!!!

Thats right for those of you that I have not talked to in a while we are EXPECTING!!! FINALLY We were pretty excited to find out the good news, not really expecting it that soon though. In December I just had a gut feeling that we may be expecting so I went to the dollar store and bought a few pregnancy tests. After I took the first test Alex did not believe it because it was a cheap test so then we did another one, He still did not believe it so before we left town for Christmas Vacation I decided to go to the doctor, they called me later that day while I was at work and told me. I was so excited to do the "I told you so" dance to Alex and I just could not wait, so I texted him "Your going to be a DADDY!" Well come to find out he was right in the middle of his last final when he recieved the text. He said that after that he couldn't focus anymore. We then drove home to Utah for Christmas it was great and we were able to see all of our family and friends. While we were down there my sister had her third child it was awsome that she had him while we were in town. When we got back in town we had Kasie, Alex's sister come and stay with us in January, we always have such a great time together, she is so much fun. After that I flew home again for Dylan's baby shower. Then the next month we went to Pheonix to spend time with one of Alex's mission companions. It was so much fun the weather was so nice. Alex actually left a can of unopened soda in my car and it exploded because it was so hot. The next weekend was kind of crazy, Alex's grandmother had passed away and we needed to fly home for the funeral but we had friends already scheduled to come into town. We went and they still came, lucky for us they were able to come pick us up from the airport. The next weekend Alex's brother (Cody), his wife (Kayla), Kasie (sister) all came to town to stay with us. We went hiking at Red Rock Canyon it was so much fun we had a great time. Lon and Karen also came down for the day and we went to the Paris buffet which was so good. So the first 4 months of my pregnancy went pretty fast becasue I really had no time to think about the baby. Which brings us to this last month, me being OCD had to find out what we are going to have because I felt that I need to get everything ready for the baby, so the whole time I've wanted a little boy. I don't know why, but that's what I wanted. Everyone kept saying that it was going to be a girl and I would disagree with them. Well the day came and we went in and sure enough they told us that it is a GIRL, I started to cry, but now I think that I am going to be okay. I went shopping and it took care of everything=) There are so many cute girl things. Which finally brings us to this last weekend.

This last weekend we were able to have most of my family in town, the weather was okay but we still managed to have a great time. We were able to go ride the Boulder City Train which was kind of a waste of money but Ace had a great time seeing the trains and riding them.

After the train ride we went to the Las Vegas Strip to the M & M and the Coke factories. The kids loved to see the M & M stuff and the 3D movie. The coke bear was a little scary for the Ace Bug but Kiwi got her picture with the bear.

After a long day at the Strip and the trains Ace and Kiwi decided it was time for ice cream!!!

On Sunday we went to the park and had an Easter Egg Hunt and a picnic!!!! McKenlee got her first Easter presents. It was such a beautiful day and the kidos had so much fun playing out side at the park. (You can kind of see the baby bump)

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

I finally fell like I am home. Back in utah that is:). On Monday 12.15.08 There was a snow storm in Las Vegas. It snowed for about 7 hours and It was starting to stick. It only snowed on the Summerlin side of town (that is were I work). I was so excited and it made me really miss the snow that we had in utah, but give me a week and I will be wishing for the beautiful Las Vegas weather again. Here are some pics of the first snow strom in Vegas!!!!!

California

So last week end as a office we went to California. Dr. Alexander has a home there so we were able to stay there and it was right next to Newport Beach. We ate lots and lots of great food and also got a lot of Christmas shopping done. It was so much fun and made the office a little closer:)

Update - Las Vegas

Update -

Things have been going pretty well in Las Vegas. I am starting to find my way around town and can now make it to all the major malls in the city. The house is starting to come together and it is starting to feel more and more like home. (Dont get me wrong I still miss family and friends back in Utah). It is nice to have thanksgiving around the corner and have it be 80 degrees outside. The ward is getting better and we are starting to make friends. Last weekend we had plans every night. It is great to be able to meet new people. I had to put up my christmas trees last weekend because I have plans every weekend until christmas. Some of which include going home to Utah twice. Going to Cal. Newport Beach for a weekend with the girls at work. Having family and friends come down to visit. The NFR Roping to watch my dad and much more. I have found a new way to fill my time instead of work it is called life and it is pretty fun.

Alex just completed his second block week. These weeks are very tough on him and on me. He studies constantly and then has a test every day of the week. He is hammered after the week so then it is my job to pamper him and nurse him back to his cheerful self. I know that I am not supposed to wish my life away but I wish that he was done with his 2nd year and all done with the book work.

I am so very excited because tomorrow I am flying to Utah to do chocolates with my family. This is a family tradition I could not miss it. I can't wait to see my whole family I miss them so much:)!

A sad day in the Lund Family

So last week Alex and I were at home and we recieved a call from Grandma Jennifer she sad that she had bad news. Well Menerva (the goldfish) had passed away. We do not know if it was the change of home because Great Grandpa Jack was watching the fish at his house while Jennifer and Cliff came down to Alex's white coat ceremony. When Jennifer and Cliff got back in town they had the fish for the night and the next morning Menerva was found belly up. It was a sad day:( and now Crunk is all by himself.

We just had our white coat ceremony 2 weeks ago and it was pretty cool. They deemed us actual medical professionals, and the ceremony was pretty fancy, and was held in the Bally's convention center. We had the fam come down to Vegas and stay with us during the event, everything turned out well.

Summer Day

Hey so it has been a while since we have updated this thing. But we are having a blast down here in Las Vegas. Life is busy but it is getting better. I have made some friends down here and it has made the adjustment a little easier. Will has you all know I lived with my sister in law and my parents all summer long it was a great summer and here are some pictures of things we did.

We were all able to go camping together Alex, KC, Brandy, Tony, Mom and Dad and the kids it was so much fun we went 4 wheeling well I should not say we it was they. I really dont go much since the accident it kind of scares me but they had a great time and got really dirty.

Then we had to move, It's actually not that bad because Las Vegas has a lot of my favorite thing FOOD!!!!!! i LOVE THE BUFFETS:) They are great you can eat as much as you want.

But the move wasn't all work we were able to have a little fun. We were able to go to the Old Strip Fremont street it was really fun with my mom, dad, and Alex's mom.

There will be a lot more to come!! We just had Alex's white coat ceremony It was fun to have all the family in town and when I get the pictures I will write more about so stay tuned!!!!!

Trip to St. George

So we have been down in Las Vegas for about 1 month now and I was getting very home sick. So the Graves family were passing through St George on their way down to Paige, AZ on Saturday. They invited us to meet up with them for lunch and to hang out. I was not going to pass up this oppurtunity. We met up and went to lunch at IN & OUT burger. Then we went looking for a movie, there was nothing good playing so we decided to go bowling. (Alex kicked our butts). After bowling it was about time to hit the road and head back to sun shiney Las Vegas. On our way home, in Mesquite we got stuck in a flash flood, this was the scariest thing in my life. In nevada they do not have any drains in the roads so all the water just sits on top. I was driving and I stopped in the middle of the freeway because I could not even see the front of my car. When the rain slowed down we decided to pull off the freeway and wait for the strom to pass. Since we were going to meet up with friends we had taken the camera (we didn't get any pictures of our friends but we did get some pictures of the flood.) Finally we made it home and I never want to be in a flash flood again.

Then on Tues. it was our 3 year wedding anniversary. It is crazy to think that we have been married for three years and oh how time flies. We really cannot even consider ourselves newleyweds any more. This year was very differnet than the past two. I have been very spoiled in the past and this year we weren't able to do much. Alex had a test the next day and plus medical school loans are not for anniversary's. So we went to the store and bought stuff for note cards, then went to Grand China (right down the street) got chinesse food to go. Came home, had dinner went on a walk and then made anatomy flash cards all night. Needless to say this is not the kind of anniversary that I am use to having, but it was great to have Alex at home and help him study. Even if it was just getting to make flash cards at least I got to spend time with him. I think that I am going to start to cherish the small amount of time that we do get to spend together because that time will be few and far between. Well it is getting late and I have to finish the anatomy of the arm flash cards for Alex.

Med School in Henderson

Sorry it's been so long since we've updated this thing, but we've both been pretty busy, I started school on Aug. 4 and haven't had time to breathe. It's 28 graduate credits with at least 3-4 hours of studying per night. Some of the classes I have are Gross Anatomy, Biochemistry, Intro to Clinical Medicine and Physical Diagnosis. I'll try to post some pictures when I have more time. Charidee has been busy with her new job working as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Alexander who is a plastic surgeon. She has to commute about 30 minutes to work, where school is a mere 5 minutes away for me. She likes it there, and is glad that she is able to work and support us. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful wife who will work her butt off while I'm studying my butt off. We've been to our ward a few times and the kid to adult ratio off the chart, I feel like Charlie and the Chocolate factory with millions of umpa lumpas running around except they're all little kids. Two weeks ago, Charidee volunteered us to be in the nursery and that was definitely some major birth control. The heat here is almost unbearable, but in another month or 2 we will be sitting in some pretty awsome weather, while all the suckers up north are freezing their Gluteal regions (sorry, the anatomy is kicking in) off. Once again sorry for the delay in updating this and hopefully there will be more where this came from.

Home Remodel

So because Charidee and Alex have been so busy with the move I, Brandy, Charidee's sister, have taken over her blog. So before the big move, they decided that they really did want to upgrade from laminate flooring to tile. They had this beautiful new tile put in just a few days before they moved in. I looks beautiful! Here are the before and after pictures. And I am expecting Charidee to edit this post as soon as life slows down a little. I also expect her to post something, with pictures at least once a month. No pressure!

The move

A lot has changed since the last post. I have moved home for the summer to be with my family and Alex has moved in with his mother. We are trying to save money before the big move and we thought that it would be nice to spend sometime with the fam during the summer, but I am really missing Al. We have bought our first home in Henderson, NV, and Alex is moving down on Saturday to tear out all the flooring and they come on Monday to start the tile. I am excited but scared to have a house it is a huge commitment. I am going to be moving down to Henderson on Wed. July 23rd to get moved in. My mom and dad, and Kasie and Jennifer are all coming down to help us move in and get settled before I start at my new job on Monday July 28th. With all of they changes coming up I am feeling mixed emotions, I am anxious, nervous, excited, scared to live somewhere else and start a new job (but I know that it will all be o Kay:)

Al is off to another interview this morning this time to Seattle, WA. He says that this one is different because he has already been accepted. (But I still hope that he does well). I hope that his flight is o kay since we are in another blizzard. Not a whole lot has changed in our lifes since the last post. We are wait as patiently as possible for summer to be over so we can move and continue on with your next adventure.

Medical school update

Al just got accepted to Medical School in Henderson, NV. We are so excited for this next phase in your lifes. We are on the house hut right now and will hopefully be moving into a house in the end of Aug. Life is crazy but I enjoy it.
